**please rate if you like this sound. I appreciate it so much!!**. This is an effect i created with my voice to create a demon growl in audacity using my audio technica microphone. I wanted to create a sound that could be creepy but not too scary for kids or children's stories originally. Then i added the paulstretch effect in audacity to create a more ominous, creepy, scary, evil, sound for a more horror like ambience. I am uploading the original as well without paulstretch and maybe another version with echo and/or reverb. A shorter, more polished version of my previous sound "alien world" (https://freesound. Org/people/patrick_corra/sounds/540045/). This ambience is a bit more earth-like compared to its predecessor, though any sound used here is either created from scratch or recorded: i used my own voice for the "bird" sounds and a crickets chirping recording for some background noise. Aside from myself and the crickets, no other animal was recorded to create this sound, so i think it's fair to define it as "alien". Inspired by the sounds heard in black mesa's version of xen, i decided to try creating a similar soundscape.

I decided to make monster-like noises into my cheap mic, and something odd came out. I will never be able to reproduce this sound vocally again.

I recorded a friend of mine making various noises and then used this one for my alien 3d model i made. I used a yeti mic to record, and audacity to edit.

This is a stereo recording of an exterior glass and metal door on a university campus in new jersey, usa. There are several articulations of the door here that lend themselves to creature and robot noises. There is a whimper and a sigh and a screech as well as some ticking and clicking. This reminded me very much of baby godzilla type noises. I've put these into iris 2 and had a good time making synth patches with them. Stereo recording at 48khz 24bit on a tascam d-40x using the internal microphones.

5 individual sounds created for a cyclops monster in a project that was cancelled before any real sound design could begin. This sound was created by recording various vocal noises and importing them into pro tools. Each vocal take was then pitch shifted down by -24 semitones and duplicated into 4-5 layers. These layers were processed individually using techniques such as reverse reverb, distortion and eq to emphasise different aspects of the creature's roar. The final sound is a result of all these layers playing simultaneously.

This is my own kaiju i made last year, i first start with the concepts. And now getting to the part on the sound on what will it sound like, so i watch any behind the scenes on how any kaijus like godzilla sound where made. So i use wooden chairs i found around my house slowly drag it that makes these noises, after every sound recorded, i go with a empty tuna fish can and after washing it, it makes a interesting sound, so i recorded that as well and mix both of those sounds together which makes this. And yes i'm working on a project that base on this kaiju.

My small dog was running around outside and got pretty hot. When i brought her in, she began lapping up water at a fast pace. She's also a little sniffly so it got some nice sniffle noises in there too. I feel like this could work well for plenty of different character shots, from a monster, to a comedy-type shot of someone eating something like noodles, to a dog drinking water in an animation.
